BULLDOG ATHLETICS
Men's Basketball
The basketball program at Selma University is reemerging with renewed purpose, discipline, and vision, firmly rooted in the University’s identity as a Bible college committed to biblical excellence and Christ-centered formation. Built on a foundation of faith, character, and hard work, the program is experiencing fresh energy under committed leadership and dedicated student-athletes who understand that athletics is an extension of servant leadership. Practices emphasize not only skill development and competitive excellence, but also spiritual growth, teamwork, and accountability grounded in biblical principles. Players are being shaped as servant-leaders on and off the court, learning to represent Christ with integrity in every game, classroom, and community setting. With improved recruitment, growing campus support, and a culture anchored in Scripture, the program is steadily reclaiming its identity and competitive presence. Each day reflects progress, resilience, and confidence in what God can accomplish through unity and perseverance. As the program continues to rebuild, it stands as a powerful testimony that athletic excellence and spiritual formation can thrive together at a Bible college, inspiring students, supporters, and the broader community with a vision of purpose-driven competition.

Women's Volleyball

The upcoming volleyball program at Selma University reflects a commitment to holistic student development. More than competition, athletics cultivate discipline, teamwork, and resilience—key elements of the college experience. Within a Christ-centered environment, volleyball becomes a space where faith and character are lived out daily.

Student-athletes will learn unity, accountability, and leadership, aligning with the University’s mission of developing generative servant leaders. The program will also enrich campus life by building community and school spirit. Ultimately, Selma University’s volleyball program aims not just to compete, but to shape students who lead through service, integrity, and purpose.
